We were excited to collaborate on this project with a company whose work we admire. Our role started by redeveloping the entire site and restructuring it to be a quickly updatable communication tool so it would help, not hinder Ajoto's fast-paced story, in addition to functioning as a stable e-commerce platform.
Ajoto's vision is to create a collection of timeless tools for everyone's journey. Apart from showing the high-end products and all the processes, materials and craftsmanship that they use to bring the story to life; a big part of the website is about showcasing their journey and experiences while exploring new creative means and inspiration from around the world.
The overall website design follows the minimalist style of the brand and a structure for easy reading, which is accompanied by great imagery. There are multiple databases in the back end, which help to categorise the information and make it easy for the Ajoto team to update and add new content to the site, as well as helping the user navigate related content.
It's an ongoing project, and constant changes and improvements aim to make the user experience more enjoyable. It's all about the journey, after all!
